Kayben Huh?

I’ve been at Yia Yia Mary’s for 2 years now.  I started off as a host and was promoted to server.  In the last couple months I was moved to cocktail server and hopefully I will be a bartender very soon.

I’ve waited a very long time to move into the bar.  I’ve never asked for anything neither because I feel like if management thinks I’m capable for advancement then it will happen.  It sucks seeing people who have been there a significantly shorter amount of time than you just pass you up and it’s not like I do a bad job in my opinion neither.  I’m glad I’m finally getting noticed even if it has been overdue.

WTH Houston?

So there have been students rallying for Joe Paterno and asking for him to stay.  How can anyone ask this man to still keep his job in light of what has been discovered.  This man knew that one of his coaches was a pedophile and even witnessed an incident and chose to relay that information to his athletic director and take no further action.  Sure, he has the most all time wins in D-1 history, but what he did was inexcusable and not only that he kept the SOB around. 

So let me ask this, you are rallying for Paterno who had a choice to protect the pedophile or the children and chose his buddy, where is the rally for the victims?  Where is their support?

Just sayin’.

And so I have found myself using this word in such phrases as “man this is janky” and “why is that woman being so janky”.
