I suggested to Celina that we should try and cook dinner one day haha.  She told me if I wanted the house to burn down.  It can’t be that bad!  Who knows, we could come up with some Vietnamese and Mexican combo. 

I did find it hilarious that when she gave me a torta, I told her that this looks like a Vietnamese sandwich and that I will take her down Bellaire one day to try some.  When I finally took her to get some banh mi (and Viet coffee!), she looked at me and was like this is a torta!

Perhaps, we and our culture are not too different after all.
